I found out about Scarlett Jewellery Label after noticing my partner marveling at some of Rebecca’s work on Instagram. Some months later when the time was right I reached out to Rebecca through her website to enquire about making an engagement ring. A bit risky, but I wanted the responsibility to create the perfect engagement ring for my partner without any input from her.
Knowing my partner I had some knowledge or her taste (gold not silver, simple and elegant, diamond or sapphire) but had no idea of anything else. I put this info along with my budget in the enquiry email to Rebecca and was blown away when I received a very thorough return email that was full of ideas and excitement with what we could do to create the perfect engagement ring. Over the next week or two we together refined some concepts for the ring and Rebecca beautifully drew them up to give me a life-like insight as to how they would look. We eventually narrowed it down to two designs and I sat down with Rebecca in her studio to weight up the pros and cons of both – I also got to select the diamond for the ring (which she had sourced).
Six weeks later I returned to the studio and got to see the result of many weeks of planning, overthinking (by me) and incredible craftsmanship (by Rebecca). The ring was truly stunning and absolutely better than I had ever expected.
I wasted no time after picking the ring up and dropped a knee the following weekend. My partner was speechless at the sight of the ring and couldn’t believe it was for her, it was perfect. The ring is now her favourite asset in this world and she wouldn’t change anything about it. Success!
